Change

Fans of the board game, Monopoly, spoke out in two thousand thirteen. They voted off the classic game piece, the iron, and replaced it with a cat. The iron had been a staple of the game since the nineteen thirties, but it just goes to show that change in life is inevitable.

And not just for Monopoly. Religious leaders in Jesus’ day didn’t like the change Jesus represented and voted Him off. Their motto was those seven dangerous words, “We never did it that way before.” God is going to do what He is going to do, and we need to be ready for the changes He brings.
